Sadly, we're having to sell our much loved camper.
She's a 4 berth, left hand drive Mercedes Tabbert in original condition.
With only 29000 kms on the clock, the engine and gearbox are still in an extremely good condition. The 5 cylinder, 3l Diesel engine starts beautifully and runs like a clock.
The condition underneath is good for a vehicle of this age with only light surface rusting in isolated spots on the chassis and running gear.
The windscreen de-mister fan is the only mechanical fault with her and I really don't fancy the job of pulling the dash out to fix it... but otherwise she's ready for the road and a 12 month MOT can be added to the purchase should the buyer wish to drive instead of trailer her away.
The camper body is in a good condition but requires resealing around all 3 roof windows which currently leak in heavy rain... again, I haven't fancied this job with the worry of denting or damage the roof in the process so a professional would be my recommendation for this repair. She's currently being kept dry using dehumidifiers, heating and a cover.
The bodywork is good but as you can see from the photos, the paintwork has begun to bubble and flake around the front of the vehicle.
The upholstery is tired and one of the seating cushions is damaged so an upgrade would benefit. The mattress and curtains on the pull down double bed are surprising pretty good.
She's a lovely old camper, both unique and full of character but in need of an upgrade which we unfortunately can't afford.
