1965/ C MG Midget fast road spec in Iris Blue with wire wheels.
Advertising on behalf of the current owner who purchased this little Midget in 2020 from Barons Auctions at Sandown Park. Over the last 18 months he’s spend a further £9, 000 on improving the mechanical and electrical systems.
It had already been upgraded to a 1380cc Oselli stage 2 fast road spec. With an unleaded 11 stud cylinder head, Tuftrided crank, Kent 286 cam and followers, lightened and balanced flywheel, 45DCOE Weber with K and N air filter. Maniflow LCB exhaust manifold and silencer.
Shortened and uprated Frontline front springs with their adjustable shock conversion kit. Frontline rear springs lowering kit.
The current owner had the gearbox fully rebuilt with 1275 internals along with a new clutch and roller release bearing and the differential rebuilt and upgraded to a 3. 7:1 ratio along with a Quaife limited slip diff costing over £3, 000.
Another £3, 000 on a complete rewire with a new cloth covered wiring loom. New discs, pads, flexi hoses and silicone brake fluid. Dashboard was repainted to match the Iris Blue exterior and areas of paint work improved.
Subject to a major body restoration in 1986 with photos and invoices.
This car has a massive history file with all service and parts invoices plus MOT’s going back to the 1980’s.
New seat belts and a new beige full tonneau in 2020.
Comes with hood frame but will need a new hood.
