this camaro rs is truly stunning in every way, the paint which is the original deep water blue is in excellent condition and super straight, the body is exceptional with zero rust or repairs, this car has never been welded or repaired! With un molested floor pans ….
it was ordered new for william d robertson on the 7th of december 1966 by quality chevrolet in lakeside california, it then went to phoenix arizona in 2012 this is where it spent its life up until 2015 when it made its way to the uk.
the 327 is it’s original numbers matching engine and is very fresh and lively, i was told it was rebuilt in 2009 and i have some paperwork to believe this to be true, they also went for a slightly more performance orientated speed-pro camshaft, apart from that it’s still retains its original four barrel carburettor, intake manifold and exhaust manifolds.
the 4-speed manual gearbox is its original trans as it still retains its i. d tag. It shifts seamlessly and has been enhanced with its hurst quick-shift shifter.
the original a/ c works well and has been converted to our 13 4a (modern a/ c refrigerant gas).
the original wiring is also in excellent condition with everything working as it should do.
the underside of this vehicle was never stone guarded and is in smooth satin black and is flawless .
this camaro reads 51, 027 miles which i can most certainly believe it to be original just bye its condition, but i have no way of proving this.
it has recently had a full service with all fluids being drained and replaced.
this car is truly an excellent numbers matching example which drives amazing and cruises very comfortably at 75 mph at 2, 500rpm .
