First introduced in 1951, the Consul quickly became one of Ford’s best selling cars. The Consul MK2 was released in 1956 and featured a longer wheelbase, more powerful engine, and in 1960, front disc brakes.
Our Ford Consul is the “Lowline” version, so-called because of its lower roof. This car has benefitted from caring owners throughout its charmed life, and has even been presented at country shows. The history file is filled with receipts for parts and labour. There is also a comprehensive workshop manual, filled with detailed photos and instructions on performing many maintenance tasks.
Our Ford Consul MK2 is full of character, and ready to provide its new owner with miles of happy motoring for many years to come.
