Raced in 1990, Davey Allison drove this #28 Texaco-Havoline Chevy Lumina in the NASCAR Busch Series. . Davey sat on the pole at the first race at Nazareth, PA before finishing 10th in the race. He then raced it at Charlotte, Indianapolis Raceway Park, Bristol, Darlington, Richmond, New Hampshire and North Carolina. It is the only Chevy Lumina Davey ever drove in NASCAR.
The car was built by his father, Bobby Allison, in their shop in Hueytown Restored by our own the late great Gene Felton in 1996 and refurbished after a few vintage races by Bill Elliot's shop here in Georgia in 2006 & had done 2 vintage races since.
Purchased from an estate this car runs & drives & would make an excellent addition to any collection.
