< A LITTLE BACKGROUND DESCRIPTION >
Imported into the UK via an experienced and well respected locally base. Japanese High performance Specialist Car Importer, just in time for Christmas 2019!!
My original plan at the time was to treat myself to another ' weekend spirited car on good weather days' along side my present 1995 uk spec MK IV TWIN TURBO SUPRA due to having been ' bitten ' by the ' JZ ' bug a long time ago!! anyway, along the way shortly afterwards, life happened!! , - Pandemic Lockdowns happened and plans had to be put on hold for everyone!!
Sadly now though due to personal reasons, I must pass this dream on to someone else to fulfill and definitely enjoy this lovely and limited number ever produced example.
This clean and in top condition Modern Classic has been totally garaged kept from ever since that time under my custodian ship.
It is indeed argued by many Classic Car Enthusiasts and JDM Car Collectors alike that the " build quality and features " of the JZX81 model (1990 >1992 ) is the " best across the range ", ( i. e. JZX81- GT; JZX90- TOURER v; JZX100 TOURER V and the final edition JZX110 IRV) - whether it be MARK II, CHASER or CRESTA variant type models!!
- Having had the privilege of owning and experiencing each first hand i also am inclined to accept this school of thought that the " GT BADGE/ Model is indeed the #1 of the pack!!
In fact, the overall present condition of this example can be described as being ' LIKE NEW ' and even in Japan currently as we speak, one would definitely be hard pressed to put their hands onto another similar, and if so be it, for a much higher price as prices on all ' 90's Performance Cars especially ( Golden bubble period) are only now going in one direction as supplies of them inevitably deplete with each passing day due to worldwide demands specifically for examples from this period!!
The example is ACCIDENT FREE; RUST FREE; All Buttons, Switches, etc. operate correctly as they should.
The paint shines very nicely with only being partially faded on the top region of the front bumper & bonnet. ( as seen in photos!! )
This example has a Digital Dash instrument display cluster; A boot spoiler with a functional High- Top Brake Light; Rear Wiper; Electric Powered Sunroof and a Factory Original Installed LSD; - all of which operates to enhance the cars' character and driving experience!!
also, a rather sporty looking wooden steering and a set of racing pedals to compliment each other are sometimes a ' familiar touch ' ( no pun intended!) added, as is the case regarding this example.

....... Under the bonnet lies TOYOTA'S WORLD RENOWNED & highly sort after FLAGSHIP ENGINE (being the ' younger brother ' to the 2JZGTE ENGINE!! ) the ' mighty, rev happy, and full of power potential ' YAMAHA TUNED ' 1JZGTE NON-VVTI ENGINE that is dry; healthy and pulls strongly - just the ' smiles for the miles ' Toyota Engineers intended it to be!! - and did the " JZ " deliver well on this promise to this day!!
- It is noteworthy to mention that this 1991 TOYOTA MARK II , JZX81, 2. 5 GT TWIN TURBO example shares from factory ( including the bigger rear- axles to the limited slip differential! ), the exact drivetrain with the awesome period correct, rare limited run TOYOTA SUPRA GT TWIN TURBO ' R ' JZA70!! - Now that's a nice touch!
However, an ' astute JDM High Performance Classic Car Collector who is ' fully in the know ' with the current market trends might decide it best to ' put it away for a while and / or prudently add this example to their investment portfolio!!
..... As a testament of how clean, well kept and preserved this low mileage example is , even the ' japanese- new- car ' aroma still permeates both the cabin & boot compartments noticeably!!
this is pretty cool and phenomenal for any 31 year old example!!
Also i must mention that while the " GT " was on the lift stand having it's ' first ever UK MOT inspection ' being carried out just days ago, away from observing a myriad of all new parts underneath first hand before it was exported to me from " Land Of Thee Rising Sun ", i noticed too a ' cheeky ' set of BILSTEIN HIGH PERFORMANCE STIFFER SUSPENSIONS ( Green colouration & thicker springs! ) were installed to enhance - let's just say an exuberant and we'll planted driving experience with confidence if and when one so desires!!.....
