very original
1980 250g model.
used for 1 season only in 1980 and then dry stored by Ernie page (Yamaha dealer) until 2019 when i purchased the bike. (I'm the second owner)
paint in good condition but 80s quality :-)
bike has some age related marks from its 1 season of use.
bike was part of the page racing team in scotland (late 70s early 80s) of which there was 2 bikes one of which is in the national museum of scotland and this one which sat in the previous owners house since 1981
bike was raced by Stewart Cole for its sole season of use in 1980
as per pictures the bike very original condition with such low use.

I did during lockdown start the bike with an auxiliary fuel tank and sounded amazing. Since been cleaned and put back in the carcoon.
matching numbers engine and vin as you would expect.
good investment bike or recommission,
I had planned to sit it in the house at some point but never seem to get round to starting the argument with my wife so its sat in the carcoon with only one outing to a show in 2019 were it won a trophy for classic racer.
Currently have it in my collection but the number of bikes is creeping up again so going to sell a couple to make space. Selling my Ducati Pantah as well.
Cleared funds prior to bike leaving, happy to work with buyers courier.
