Stunning 1969 Lotus Elan Plus 2 located in central London as recently featured in Classic and Sports Car.
Heavy heartedly parting ways with this beautiful car which I have owned and enjoyed driving for the past eight years. The engine has been rebuilt and fitted with larger valves, chassis and body repainted in '92.
Electronic ignition and rev counter converted to RVC. Gearbox and differential rebuilt in 1992. The wiring on the car has been redone and the car has been fitted with an alternator a few years ago (original dynamo comes with the car) so all electric devices like horn, windscreen wipers, electric windows etc operate very smoothly.
Car has always been kept in the garage and comes with a lot of original receipts dating back to the 1990s as well as pictures of the rebuilt. Only a few previous owners and an absolute joy to drive. Comes with a cover as well as a few spare gaskets etc. Fresh MOT until August 2023.
