1972 Ford Consul Pickup Truck (Granada Mk1) 3. 3V6. Manual 4-speed box.
Brilliant vehicle, drives well loaded or unloaded, & gets lots of interest at shows - or when its used as a Parts Hauler.
Converted (from what I can find out) in 1982.
Owned on & off for 20 years (sold it twice & bought it back)
Essex V6 bored to 3. 3 with a non-standard cam (haven’t had it apart, info I’ve been told by the builders).
4 speed manual box. Towbar.
New/ Recent parts:
Heavy Duty Kilen springs all round
Monroe Gas-Matic shocks all round
Weber 38DGAS carb & filter
Plug leads & Plugs
Water pump
Brake Servo
Original wide-top Radiator has been recored
New propshaft
Interior has Recaro seats & Mk2 centre consol.
Melber 15” alloys refurbished & powdercoated with new Ryken Maystorm 205/ 60 R15 tyres
Resprayed around 5 years ago, not perfect, but does the job.
Rear section (5ft3in x 4ft10in) has a 2x2 metal box section grid topped with heavy gauge checker plate so can take heavy loads (have had x3 engines in there) & Toyota roll bar.
Has had welding underneath (obviously) but to a high standard & with no concerns from the MOT testers over the years - if an advisory has been raised at any test, it has been rectified to the same high standard before retest & pass.
(I dont believe or trust 'just get it through the test' repairs, or MOT Exemption).

Registered correctly on V5 as a Pickup with 3300cc engine.

As can be seen by the MOT mileage, it isnt getting used enough which isnt fair on the truck, hence this sale.
Have bought another vehicle already so cash sale only, no part ex or swaps I’m afraid.
