This is a very rare 1964 Triumph Spitfire Mk 1 in show quality condition. It was manufactured in UK and exported to South Africa where it spent over 50 years in a dry warm climate. Now back in the UK it has a date correct UK registration and has been re-commissioned and MOT'd by a specialist garage. There are over 40 photographs recording the car before and during the restorations. The original 1147cc engine and gearbox have been overhauled and new tyres fitted. The car comes complete with a removable Lenham hardtop, hood, tonneau and the original 17'' triumph steering wheel. This Mk 1 is ready for shows and the Spitfire Mk 1 60th Anniversary events this Summer.
