1999 Peugeot 306 Rallye
Finished in arguably the most popular colour - Bianca white.
Back in 1999 these were released in a limited run of just 500 vehicles, with only 200 finished in white. These rarely come up for sale now, having become a strong choice for enthusiasts and collectors alike.
This particular Rallye made a very brief appearance in a Peugeot themed episode of Top Gear back in 2015.
Cleans up well and more than presentable. Few small marks for what is now a 23 year old vehicle. The drivers seat has a small area of wear to the outer bolster as shown but otherwise in good order inside. The rear bumper has some fine hairline cracks in the paint to the left corner.
A few minor modifications have been made over the years:
Lowered 30mm to the front and slightly more to the rear.
Later Phase 3 'Crystal' headlights fitted for a fresher look.
Original cyclones painted in anthracite grey with premium tyres.
Stainless exhaust system and air filter fitted.
Admittedly these changes may not be to everyone’s taste now these cars are becoming a sought after modern classic, but easily changed for little money.
The cambelt was replaced in 2018 / 4, 000 miles ago at a Peugeot Main Dealer. New OE quality discs and pads were fitted to front and rear only 750 miles ago.
The side window scraper seals to the top of the door skin where they meet the bottom of the window have recently been changed for a pair of very good seals as the previous items had the usual bubbling along them due to age - so these now look nice and smart.
A new Rallye decal has been applied to the bonnet where the previous decal had started to fade.
Correct period non-leather steering wheel fitted where the previous wheel had started to perish.
A rebuilt rear axle will be included separately, where the current axle was noted as having slight play at the last MOT.

Test drives offered to serious prospective buyers, with me driving.
Reluctant sale after 8 years of ownership purely due to lack of use covering only several hundred miles a year. Now feels like the right time to let someone else enjoy.
