This MGB roadster was first registered April 1974 and had the same keeper from 1976 until 2016 when purchased by current owner.
The vehicle has seen an older quality restoration (1998) which has a detailed inventory of parts and a photo record of the body and mechanical restoration and paint. Panel shut lines are excellent as is the paint finish. The underside is also excellent on the floors, sills, castle rails etc. and has been waxoiled, keeping it completely corrosion free. All the panels are excellent including doors, rear inner and outer arches, boot, bonnet, front wings. Vehicle has always been in dry storage since restoration.
Inside the car the seats are excellent, carpets good, nice original dashboard and inertia seat belts fitted. The hood is also excellent with clear windows. All the chrome is of a decent standard.
The vehicle has a detailed log of overhauled overdrive and gearbox, rear differential rebuild, new wheel cylinders, new clutch, new fuel pump, converted to a 12v single battery with isolator and much more. The car drives well with excellent oil pressure and is fitted with overdrive which works perfectly. See photos and history record for further examination.
