1989 Porsche 944 2. 7 Lux, 74, 800 miles, only 2 previous owners. I’ve owned it since 1999 and lovingly cared for it since then.
This car has never been restored or molested - a very clean practical car and still a head turner.
All the handbooks and service books are present along with tool kit, tyre compressor and sunroof bag. The popup roof comes out, and everything works as it should, including the clock.
It had the belts and idlers done by a specialist in Sept 2018 and it’s done maybe 250 miles since then. Front callipers were refurbished, the discs replaced and braided hoses fitted around the same time, as well as new brake fluid. The clutch was done when I bought it at 56k miles along with the starter power steering rack, water pump, new sunroof, gears and realignment.
Recent spend is a brand new MOT, fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator, a small fuel pipe and a new washer motor.
The car will come with a spare set of new front shocks, tailored cover, and a set of its original Teledial wheels.
It has a regular oil change, but it’s possibly only done a 1k miles over the last 10 years. I think I have every MOT from 1999 in the file full of receipts, it’s always garaged and never sees the rain and is a very good useable car.
It really is a rare beauty these days. It my 4th daughter and none of them want me to sell it. I love it like a child in fact my eldest thinks I love it more than her. It is a really difficult decision to sell it as I know I will never be able to find another like it. I don’t need the money (so no silly offers please) but It’s time to let it leave the nest and find a new custodian who will cherish it as much.
This is a truly lovely car and of course, in the best colour!
