Fantastic example of an iconic classic motorcycle first exported to the USA by Yamaha in response to the demand for usable trail motorcycles that began in the late 60's with the introduction of the DT250 in 1968.
This motorcycle was imported from the US sometime in 2019 and has been subject to an extensive overhaul.
The engine and clutch have been rebuilt , and all cables and levers replaced . A New mikuni carburrettur is installed and has been rejetted and tuned. A vape electronic ignition is fitted and provides an enhanced spark to the engine and lighting sysyem, Hagon shocks have been provided to improve the handling on the rear along with a pirelli rear wheel for improved grip. New paint was provided professionally all around in 2021 to an excellent standard . All nuts and bolts are replaced or reconditioned and the Oil pump is rebuilt and recalibrated to ensure proper oil delivery direct into the cylinder.

On the road it pulls well through the gears and inspires confidence that belies its 50 years of life.
