History
This e36 is a truly exceptional example. Originally a dealer registered demonstrator, it was purchased by its primary owner Mrs Snedker in February 1998, she then kept the car for A further 23 years servicing the car on average every 5000 miles.
Owing to a clearly careful ownership the car remains remarkably well preserved , it has been stored in a garage for the majority of its life.
Condition
The bodywork presents in excellent condition with only the most minor of blemishes visible on close inspection. Crucially for an e36 there is no evidence of corrosion in any of the wheel arches or sills.
The tyres are matching and correct Dunlop’s in very good order and plenty of remaining tread.
The alloy wheels are in excellent condition retaining their original finish with only a few light marks visible.
The interior again is in excellent order. The dash, door cards and seats all very well preserved. Only light wear present to the drivers seat bolster, as to be expected. The interior switches all function as intended, including the rarely specced heated seats. The on board computer functions perfectly with no missing pixels. It would be hard to find a nicer condition example.
Mechanical operation
Owing to the regular and comprehensive maintenance it drives just as it should, allowing the driver to fully appreciate the greatness of this era of BMW drivers cars. The 2. 5L straight six is smooth and refined providing ample power, complimented by a satisfying and precise feeling gearchange. The factory M sport suspension all operates correctly and provides a compliant yet sporty ride giving the perfect combination of comfort and enjoyment, both on country lanes and motorways.
