Descrição
Welcome to my advertisement off my Golf Rallye.
Genuine UK SE version ( so not imported like most ), only 62 genuine rallyes were sold new in the UK by VW themselves. This is the 2nd one so it's pretty rare.
Finished in graphite grey metallic 7b7v
107k miles from new .
Owner previous to me owned the car for a lengthy 25 years , always dry stored and done little miles for the past 10 years .
2012 mot history shows 107k .
2022 mot history shows 107k
My Rallye still has the original side trims fitted along the whole side, these are usually removed to give a nice smooth look but lucky have never been removed .
The car is pretty much stock apart from the aftermarket wheels , suspension and exhaust system .
The car still has the original twin cats fitted and all correct exhaust shields underneath.
Original fogs , and brake ducts still fitted .
The whole front end is in good condition, no cracks to the glass on the headlights . However the front indicators are different either side .
Original rallye badged grill , I also have a debadge grill included .
The car in 2012 had the engine removed and many parts powdercoated, cambelt , jabba charger , new clutch , charger braided lines to name a few things.
I have recently in 2022 , replaced the cambelt again , with a engine service , camshaft followers and conrod bearings being replaced . It's also has front discs and pads and a caliper .
The engine is very smooth and nice and quiet for an 8v . It's stock bar and a slightly worked charger.
Inside the car is original bar the steering wheel and a small boost gauge . The half leather seats are very solid , with a few 'fag' burns in the cloth material front and rear . The leather door cards are in lovely shape as is the headlining . The sunroof works as it should , electric windows work , although the passenger one tends to stick sometimes .
The car is sitting on very retro 17 inch alloys but included are the sebrings . I've included a photo .
The car is very honest and a lovely example, its free from rust and rot , the sills are in great shape both underneath and the visible lower sills which are common to rot away.
It has some imperfections though so don't expect a show car , the paints believed to be original so it has picked up the odd dent & scratches to the body .
The main bits are.
The roof will need painting due to some fairly heavy scratches it's picked up but it's not essential. One 1/ 4 panel at the rear has a key mark towards the roof , the other side has a small paint defect
One side to the rear bumper has a scuff aswell
These have been touched up but would benefit from a bodywork repair if wanting to improve the car .
From 2 Meters the car looks very mint , it's by no means terrible though far from it . Call the bodywork original, rust and rot free . But with a slight patina !
In all its a lovely genuine UK example which can be used and enjoyed .
Reason forsale is I was lucky enough to buy another show standard Rallye recently and don't really need to own 2 .
Question please ask , viewings welcome after a chat , no groups please you'll be turned away.
Potentially would take a classic/ retro car as px but rather a outright sale .
