For Sale is my 1982 Mk1 Golf GTI. Non sunroof model. Original 1. 6 EG Engine. (Tax and MOT exempt next year). MOT Til March 2023
I bought this back in 2019. It needed new sills, arches, wings, front panel etc. Welding carried out to a high standard – all cut out with new metal. Epoxy painted underneath then tinted body colour raptor for ultimate protection. Full respray in original mars red.
Powder coated rear axle, every bush, suspension arm etc replaced with new
Brand new shocks and Eibach -30mm springs all round
Brand new master cylinder, front calipers, rear drums, rear cylinders etc.
1. 6 engine – block painted and overhauled. Cylinder head was refurbished with new stem seal, recut valve seats, pressure tested. Pressures etc setup by crazyquiffs Mk1 golf specialist.
Full stainless steel exhaust made in the same size and shape as the original (not loud)
Interior is all original and in great condition for its age. Missing its parcel shelf but home made version in its place.
Rare 14 x 7 Revolution wheels (refurbed) with brand new toyo tyres.
Couple of bits coming through on the paint, but other than that no other bad points
