Fiat Uno Turbo Mk2 1. 4ie,
Used as a demonstrator by Marn Fiat Group until purchased by my father in law in February 1992 from Marn Fiat in Camberley.
It failed MOT in 2003 requiring welding to rear turrets and sills and was given to me in February 2004. I had the work done in 2004 and between 2004 and today, it has mostly been sorned, of which I have all the documents and sat in the corner of my garage.

The car has always been standard from new. It was resprayed prior to my ownership and now shows a little surface rust on the rear os quarter around the filler cap. It has a couple of small age related marks. Interior is good, Dash works intermittently, I believe there is a loose connection. Brakes require refurbishing although it has had new pads and possibly disks some time ago. Both sill covers are missing. Rear bumper was replaced at some point and does not have the red strip. Engine bay is reasonably tidy. Underneath could do with tidying up. Rear suspension turrets and boot floor were welded when I brought the car along with sills. Tyres are old and aged and will require replacing.
Having had the Mot only expire in 2020, I dont believe it would require too much for it to pass. It looks generally tidy and at some point might benefit from a sympathetic restoration.
It is unlikely I will ever do much with it, so I think it is time to let someone else enjoy it.
With low production numbers, many becoming victims to rust, reshelling, abuse and the scrappage scheme a while ago, they have become one of the rarest 90s hot hatches. Undervalued for many years, prices seem to be consistently on the up over the last year and will most probably continue to do so.
I am open to offers around £10000.
I believe this car offers a golden opportunity for a UT enthusiast to acquire a one family owned genuine car.
