Presented at the 1958 Turin Motor Show, the Lancia Appia GTE (for Gran Turismo Esportazione) is based on the second Appia series. Its power has been revised upwards with 53 hp against 43. 5 for the sedan. The estimate of 136 copies produced makes it a rare car. Desirable.
Despite its small engine, its lightness gives it a lively and fun character.
Our copy was sold new in Guatemala and appears in the official register of Apia
Its owner has just completely restored it, mechanically as well as the Aluminum bodywork, more than €30, 000 in invoices over the past 4 years.
