The Bentley Continental GT is a 2 + 2 grand touring coupe produced by Bentley since May 2003. The second series was presented in 2011 and the third in 2018.
Unlike the models it replaces, based on the Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit / Bentley Mulsanne platform, the Continental GT derives from the Volkswagen D3 platform, also used by the Bentley Continental GTC, Bentley Continental Flying Spur, Audi A8 and Volkswagen Phaeton.
The engine is a 6-liter, 12-cylinder at W of 72º (two banks at 90º, each with cylinders in a 15º V shape), supercharged by two turbochargers, it delivers a power of 560 HP at 6100 rpm, and an engine torque of 650 Nm at 1600 rpm. The traction is four-wheel drive, the six-speed gearbox is automatic with electronic control, with possible sequential manual use. Top speed 318 km / h and acceleration from 0-100 km / h in 4. 8 seconds.
