1981 lancia beta spyder 2000
rhd model from the dry climate of inland south africa. imported early 2021 with all uk tax and duty paid, with valid nova certificate. uk road registered with v5c and english plates. car was serviced and mot'd on arrival in uk. car is currently in dry storage and SORN.
now over 40 years old. tax & mot exempt.
plenty of service and works history dating back to the 1980s. folder full of receipts and printed photographs. spare keys. manuals. lots of old photos taken over the years. spare wheel + box of accessories.
mechanically and structurally the car is in very good condition. it starts up first time and sounds sweet.
odometer reads 16, 430km but looking at the service history its gone around the clock once, so its 116, 430km.
there are a few very small spots of surface rust which are detailed in the pictures, mainly around the bonnet and seals of the windscreen and a couple of the panels. also the glove box latch has snapped so it doesn't close.
an overlooked italian classic. only around 10, 000 of these were made.
the car was 'manufactured' in 1980 but first registration is january 1981. i'm not 100% sure if this makes it a 1980 or 1981 model?
