A Beautiful South African Import which has had a superb body restoration. Rust Free unlike many of the UK examples.
1976 VW T2 Bus - Lots more pics available.
New Tyres, New Windscreen, New Interior.
Also freshly painted 12 months ago.
Tax and MOT exempt – V5 in my name 0 previous UK keepers.
1 set of keys newly replaced.
The bus has a 1300 air cooled engine fitted.
Not 100% but not much to be completed to make this a fantastic example.
The following works have been completed by Mark @ VolksAutos – Hanslope;
New engine tin work fitted.
Remove and check clutch and all ok.
Remove plugs clean and gap, fit replacement dizzy, fit new plug leads and rotor arm, fit new coil.
Weld up exhaust pipes that had been cut, fit replacement silencer.
Repair accelerator cable.
New carburettor fitted.
Replace fuel hose from fuel tank.
Wire up regulator as missing, make good wiring to engine.
Remove wiper motor and strip to repair, fit new wiper motor and make good wiring.
The underneath of the van is very very good and needs no welding. This is a great solid bus.
Paint work is in good order along with the inside which is a fantastic colour combination.
This bus with a little more work will make a very good classic VW.
