Chassis number 4502181 - first registered on February 8th 1936 in Hampshire. Introduced on July 11th 1935 the New Fourteen "NF" replaced the earlier and equally short lived Fourteenl. The wheels of the New Fourteen differ in being pressed steel, "easy clean" instead of wired and the body widened lowered and shortened to improve appearance and notabley these cars were powered by the last Wolseley produced engine, being a OHC 6 cylinder unit. Approximately 5790 examples were produced, before, the model was replaced by the Series II 14/ 56 on 26th June 1936. Today less than 30 of these cars are known to exist world wide. There is no history with this example other than a small selection of photographs showing an earlier restoration. The car, has been stored for some years and currently isnt isnt starting but the vendor assures us it does run and that there a good quantity of paperwork
