Excellent original car, only 49k miles from new, MoT to March 2023, running well. Show-winning rosettes for originality, sliding roof, good tyres, good brakes, original handbook and lots of old receipts for work done, old MoTs etc. I took this in part-exchange thinking that I would like it, but I don't. Actually that's wrong, I do like it - it's a cute little thing and much admired, but it is way too slow for my motoring needs. Whoever designated it the "Flying" 9 must have been the 1937 Gold Medal winner at the World Optimist Championships. 12v with 4-speed box. Cheap interesting classic part-exchange considered; Minor maybe, doesn't have to be shiny, remedial fettling not a problem, but no total rebuilds - I am on a de-projecting exercise. And maybe a tad faster than a Flying 9.
