Description
Rare truck used by US signal corps during ww2. Earthdrill and pole setter truck. Only 4 or 5 are known to exist in europe. This one came to sweden after the war, first imported by Swedish army, and some years later sold to Statens Väginstitut (State roadinstitute). Was last time driven in early 70´s, when a rod went threw the engineblock. No engine in the truck now, but an other 235cui engine will follow on the side. I bought the truck from a collector 20 years ago. Very nice project, very little rust (has been garage kept for over 50 years). Located in Linköping, Sweden, 200km south of Stockholm.
