This remarkable car has to be the most original and unmolested MK1 GT6 for sale today. Bought 42 years by an enthusiastic member of the Triumph Sports Six Club and graced many a classic car competition (and winning some!!!). The car was cosseted and fussed over for 25 years then SORN'd . I was lucky enough to buy it along with 4 other wonderful British sports cars earlier this year and now we are ready to find a new loving owner for this special car. We’ve removed the protective wax that the previous owner had applied liberally to the bodywork and chrome to see what lay behind it and we’re delighted to inform you that the car is rust free!!! Sure you’ll find the surface chip here and there but this is one project that you will not be welding, adding new panels or filler! The body is straight and sound.
Mechanically it is 100% complete & original. It rolls straight and freely and the engine turns over fine with no bad signs. Message me for 100 images or we'll do a personal video.
