1 new rear spring, 3 refurbished & restored
Refurbishment of complete braking system
Transmission handbrake reconditioned with new linings
New brake light
New wiper motor
Fuel tank cleaned, repaired & fuel pump
New wiring loom
Voltage control unit
Dynamo reconditioned
Starter & button reconditioned
All gauges checked.
Speedo reconditioned at 34048 miles & it has covered just over 300 further miles since restoration. There are various MOT's on file all pointing to the correct mileage.
Steering box, axles, prop shaft, gearbox, transfer box
Body panels & bulkhead removed, repainted individually off the vehicle before reassembly
Wheels shot blasted & repainted
New hood & front seat coverings
Full engine rebuild by specialist
In essence this is a fully rebuilt, rut & bolt restoration from the ground up, yet retaining a huge amount of the original parts, engine, gearbox etc.
Original 1949 vehicles are a very rare find indeed, & we have been very lucky acquiring this vehicle. We haven't had one of these for over 10 years.
