Lovely VW Westfalia Early bay window campervan imported from California in 2013 and bought by us soon after, comes with extensive history, receipts and dry stored
- 1600 single port air cooled engine reconditioned not long before it was imported, runs well
- Professionally converted to RHD using original bay window parts, the best of both worlds- a solid imported US van with the benefits of RHD

Underside is completely solid, probably one of the best you’ll find and has been fully rustproofed to maintain that condition
Work carried out while we’ve owned it:
- Respray in original pearl white colour
- Replaced all the worn out seals (window seals, door seals, light seals, etc.)
- New roof canvas fitted
- Original wheels and bumpers blasted and re painted white
Just taken it out of storage and had:
- New CV boots fitted
- New flywheel oil seal fitted
- New gearbox seals and rear wheel bearing seals fitted
- New brake and fuel hoses fitted
- Engine and gearbox oil changed
Upgrades include:
- 240V hook-up UK spec
- Leisure battery and durite voltage-sensitive split charge relay
- Interior lights with remote control
- Engine bay fire extinguisher fitted
- Interior lights, stereo, 12V auxiliary supply all run from leisure battery (new leisure battery will be included in sale)
- Sony stereo and a pair of hidden speakers mounted under the dash
Original 1970 Westfalia interior with rock and roll bed, side wardrobe, buddy seat and matching stool. The interior is very clean. All tyres nearly full tread, full size matching spare wheel in the back which is unused. We also have the original Westfalia awning, mosquito nets, front cab and overhead hammocks and kitchen unit station which was removed for an extra seat. All of these can be included in the sale if desired.
We have extensive paperwork and history from when it was in California, even the original service book, as well as receipts from parts fitted whilst we’ve owned it.
