The inline 1. 5 litre engine, built by Harry Meadows Ltd. This being 1 of the 50 rare racing engines, fitted with a deflector head and revised port shapes, bigger valves, the turbulence in the combustion chamber increases, resulting in a greater power output. This engine is the ex Miss V. M. Wilby (FN YG6020) a well known female rally driver in the day, correspondence letters on file. This car also had a full HCS engine rebuild in 2018.
The chain gang is always an impressive sight. The axle has a sprocket with the same number of teeth as on the driveshaft, driven from the main with extra sprockets to control the gearing. These can be altered to suit cruising or sprinting.
This Frazer Nash is probably the nicest and most honest car you can find. The current owner has been the custodian for over 25 years. Having enjoyed the car in more UK & European Rallies than he cares to remember. The car has been at HCS for regular service and the engine had a full rebuild in 2018. Original UK Registration BMC445, comes with large history file including Belgium registration, UK Green log book and V5, correspondence with the FN club and previous owners / members and plenty of receipts of all works carried out, plus a history of photographs.
