Description
No its not a misprint, 280i Turbo, in the early 80's TVR wanted more power and experimented with a Turbo charged version of the Tasmin, one car was built a FHC with Turbo Conversion by AVJ Developments.
This car was converted from a standard 280i when almost new by AVJ at a cost of £2680.
I bought the car as a non runner in 2018 and took it for MOT in July 2019, it failed on emissions, I took it to a rolling road to sort this was done but it needed new injectors which it now has but it was identified that the petrol tanks were full of crude so they came out which is were I am now.
46235 miles from new, less 1000 miles in since 2006, original paint, road tested by Country Life 14/ 8/ 86
A car TVR would have made if they hadn't adopted the Rover V8. (alot cheaper!)
New Hood waiting to be fitted, new petrol pump and filter fitted , new mirror motors, ask any questions . I think this unique car is a bargain for someone
