Footnotes
The Gallardo (named as usual after a breed of fighting bull) was Lamborghini's best-selling model with more than 14, 000 built over 11 years of production, commencing in 2003. Alongside road car production, Lamborghini contested the FIA GT3 Championship and Japanese Super GT, as well as the later one-make Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo.

Reiter Engineering, already known for their involvement with the Murcielago R-GT GT1 racer developed and built the GT3 cars for Lamborghini. The Gallardo's four-wheel drive system was removed, and other modifications were made to adapt the car for the GT3 regulations which generated some of the closest GT racing in recent years. Part way through the cars production Reiter Engineering introduced the 'FL2' specification to reflect the facelift the road going Gallardo had received, and keep the car competitive in an ever evolving GT3 grid.

The motorcar offered competed the Italian GT3 Championship from 2013 to 2016 with Imperial Racing Team. Driven by Giacomo Barri and Giorgio Sanna, the car ended the championship in 16th place in 2013. In 2014 the car was uprated to FL2 specification. In 2014 and 2015, the car was raced extensively, by Giacomo Barri, Andrea Amici, Mirko Bortolotti, Alberto Viberti, Adrian Zaugg, Vito Postiglione and Andre Gagliardini, with 1st place results at Paul Ricard, Monza and Vallelunga (please see full list of race results on file).

The current owner purchased the motorcar directly from Imperial Racing Team in 2020. It is understood that prior the sale, Imperial had the car overhauled. The car has been used sparingly since.
