The car is in beautiful condition and drives so well, finished in
Old English White with Red leather trim and Black Mohair hood and tonneau cover.
The first Healey Westland was produced in 1946. Over the next years three different versions of the chassis were made. 17 of the A chassis, 42 of the B chassis and of the C chassis only 11 were produced. This particular car being one of the B-Type chassis.
The Westland takes its name from Westland Engineering Company at Hereford, England, which built the prototype (November 1945). Later cars were built in chassis form at the Healey Works at Warwick, some complete and others bodied by several British coachbuilding companies.
With a steel chassis, ash frame with an aluminum handcrafted body all driven by a 2. 4 litre Riley 104bhp engine, Riley four-speed gearbox, and rear axle.
Mille Miglia eligible
Classic Restorations (Healey Specialist) in Milton Keynes restored the car (started in 2009) to the highest standards and prepared for the Mille Miglia in 2012. The car was successfully campaigned during the event finishing without problems. The car also competed in the 2016 Mille Miglia and again successfully finished without any concerns, the car has covered a total of 4, 300 miles since the restoration.
