This example of the RANGE ROVER "Classic" was assembled by LEYLAND in South Africa. She has always lived in Johannesburg, until Aug.'20, hence rust free. The Body is undamaged and rear tailgate in good condition - interior recently renewed seat covers and carpeting, although not per original materials – nothing missing.
The car runs and drives well, the twin-SU Carbs are changed to a single downdraught carburettor, otherwise as she left the factory.
The chassis is straight and has not been accident damaged, although all of the underpinning components and the under-body shell has surface rust there is no structural panel damage, has under-body protection plates. This car is an excellent candidate for full restoration. I’ve sold and shipped cars to eighteen countries over the past 30 years and will provide all of the logistics to point of arrival, and further assist with the import procedures if the service is required.
