1966 Austin Healey 3000 MK3 BJ8 4 seat car for sale with fresh mot.
Previous owner had it since November 1978, 44 years!
The car has been unused for a few years now, so we have just recommissioned it, new rear wheel cylinder, all levels checked, nipples greased, new plugs etc, pretty much a full service apart from oil change.
The car runs and drives great, engine pulls well, gearbox has overdrive (switch on top of gearlever) and it has a non-overdrive rear axle which is better for touring, which is what it was used for by previous owner. All mechanicals are great, no noises that shouldn't be there, just back for a long roadtest and all works great, really is a pleasure to drive. Car has electronic ignition also.
The trim has a nice patina, dash is great, vinyl hood and tonneau fit well and are in nice condition also.
The underside of the car is excellent, it is not a rusty car, see pictures.
The paintwork has a few chips to it, on pretty much every panel. The car is a really nice useable car, if re painted would be superb.
