Description
The Americans and their endless legislation on cars. Especially for those weird, fast things from Europe; because the average F-150 driving nationalist thought they were a threat to all that was good over there!
Our Targa is a car which has nothing whatsoever to do with the USA. It wears clogs, drifts gigglingly round windmills and finds nothing more beautiful than letting the 110 Friesian horses run wild over a dyke. It was ordered by Mr Oldeboer in 1968 and has not left our country since. In 2017, the car was completely re-painted and its engine rebuilt, retaining as much of its originality as possible.
The Blutorange/ Tangerine paint is very popular among Porsche fans, one of the ‘Skittles-colours’ from the sixties that has proven to be a lucrative investment.
You don’t own a Porsche, you merely look after it for the next generation.
