For Sale is my 1972 Ford Cortina Mk3 GXL with a 2L pinto engine
I have tried to make everything stock.
A highly sort after MK3 as it was only made from 1970-1972.
The interior is pristine and comes with:
- Factory Stock carpets
- A 1970's radio that has bluetooth and Jack connectors and also
1970's speakers
- Engine is clean and runs really well.
- auto choke works
- good tyres including the spare
- approx 48K on the clock.
- history goes back a few owners, but not to 1972.
It is not concourse level but its in pretty good shape all round, specifically the interior
No tyre kickers. Its a 50 year old car !!!!!!
Key points
1. The car was stripped back in 2014/ 2015 and i have 2 CD's of photo's & videos of all the work. These can be provided upon request
2. The chassis and frame are in great condition and the underneath was sealed before and again when the work was done in 2014/ 2015
We have the VIN and it matches including the chassis & frame number
I have quite a lot of history from 95 onwards as it was SORN for quite a few years

A few minor jobs that need doing that i have not had time to do :
a. See the last photo. there are a few bubbles which needs some minor work. Aournd it is all solid.
b. . The exhaust is blowing a bit and could do with taking off and possible a new gasket & sealing < i will include the gasket sealant with the car >
