Welcome to the Listing of my UK - 1st owner 50 years - L243 Diamond Grey Metallic 6 Volt 1958 VW Beetle - Was off the road between October 1979 and July 2022 so has survived well!
You could be only the 3rd Person to ever drive it!

I bought it off the original 1st Owner Mr David R Poole from Hereford in 2008 - he originally purchased it from Peter Wilson Garages of Yeovil on 23rd October 1958 and parked it up in 1979!
There is still a Peter Wilson dealer plaque on the NS door
Original Transferable Registration Number 121 CYB is Valued at £2000. 00 +
It is totally standard and has not been modified in any way apart from the trafficators being fitted with 6 volt flashing bulbs and a mechanical fuel gauge !
Was off the road 43 years!!
I have spent £10 K on parts alone for it in the last 18 months not incliuding the original purchase price of 5K ! Spent £4K on the 30HP engine rebuild by BJ's Speedshop with new everything!!
Restored with the Body Off New Heater channels / carpets, headlining, shocks / bearings/ seals far too many new parts to list !
