Superb 1986 MG Metro in metallic silver with just 34900 miles from new. Bought by the previous owners in 2013, the car was fully restored to a very high standard over a 3 year period. It was then always garaged and used sparingly - mainly for shows (some awards won) and club events. The car is still in exceptional condition, bodily and mechanically, absolutely no rot and virtually as new seats, carpet, and door cards.
Fitted with Turbo wheels with new tyres all round (incl spare), recent front shock absorber conversion to improve ride and handling, all Hydragas units overhauled and re-gassed in 2020, tilt/ remove sunroof, alarm/ immobiliser, central locking. Comes with original handbook, service book, Haynes manual, indoor car cover, various invoices and old MOT’s.
Smooth and lively engine coupled with slick gearbox ensures an excellent drive. This must be one of the very best of the few remaining cars, nothing needs doing. It is ready to show or just enjoy.
