Mercury Capri ASC McLaren 5. 0 Convertible, the Mercury Capri Convertible, was only built by Mercury for 3 years 1984/ 5/ 6 for a total production run of 433, this is serial number 141 of the 186 built in 1985. So very, very rare. The car was first registered in Florida and has always been in Florida, so no rust evident. Never been in an accident, and I am the third owner. The odometer is only a five figure, so the mileage showing is probably not the correct mileage. The vehicle is very presentable, had a full body repaint 2 years ago and the 2 seats were rebuilt and recovered at the same time, it starts, runs and drives fine, even stops as designed. No real mechanical problems, but as the bulk of the mechanical's , is based by Mercury, on a Mustang of the same year. So no real problems with obtaining spares when needed. None needed at this time. The roof is in good condition, but is not powered has to be raised and lowered by hand. NIce looking very rare car, probably the only one in UK.
