LOTUS ELAN SSE. 1969
1600 twin cam Weber carbs. Runs great. Registered Historic Vehicle.
Red. Excellent condition. Fully documented detailed history.
Very good bodywork, nice interior, electric windows. Colin Chapman leather rim steering wheel.
Car updated in several areas, none of which detract from the appearance and character of the Elan. Mods include new Powerlite starter motor, Powerlite alternator (looks as dynamo but works much better) Aluminium radiator and fuel tank. Electric fan. New battery, cut off switch. New points and ignition coil fitted and I have an electronic points conversion, but not fitted. PNM LED headlights fitted and originals included.
Good wheels, knock ons, solid drive shafts, recent new Dunlop tyres, stainless exhaust, new windscreen wipers and more.
The radio does not work, possibly not connected, but I like to listen to the engine anyway!
