Austin 7 Cambridge Style Special
A charming aluminium bodied Austin Special that started life as a 1935 Ruby saloon.
The history folder comes complete with charming photographs from 1969 onwards when purchased as a project car ripe for creating a special, its then owner Mr Cooper kept the vehicle for a number of years.
The special was sold to Morgan car collector Mr Rudge Webb in 1977 where it resided for over a decade taking part in a number of rallies and events.
The vehicle passed to classic enthusiast and owner Mr Toms in 1988 where it stayed in his collection for over 30 years until his passing.
I acquired this car from the previous owners family where I embarked on a recommission to bring it back to usable condition.
Very affordable entry point to vintage motoring.
At 6 ft 1 with size 12 feet it's comfortable for me to drive with the correct shoes, but would maybe suit a smaller person or smaller steering wheel to suit someone bigger.
