Cosworth MK VIII - MK XIV Pre Crossflow 1500 (1575cc)
Recently removed from a Lotus 7 S2 when replaced with a Twin Cam.
I purchased the engine unseen other than the photos below and sent it straight to Barum Engines for survey and rebuild.
Cosworth ported and gas flowed head, steel rocker shaft and pedestals, new valves. Head refaced. Currently 9. 6:1 Compression Ratio with plenty of scope to skim head.
Block refaced, new +90 cast pistons, cast 116e rods and cast crank. Steel main caps. Rotating assembly balanced. Front bowl baffled sump.
Cosworth A2 cam fitted, duplex chain and gears.
Comes with dynamo, glass top fuel pump and distributor.
Flywheel and AP clutch.
A period piece, perfect for a restoration or classic 7 recreation. Will go perfectly with a Ginetta G4 build.
Engine is currently 9. 6:1 compression ratio with plenty of scope to skim the head. Fitting an A3 cam will provide a boost to power
