Stunning unrestored Stag with a special history. Including the original hardtop, the heritage certificate and lots of invoices. Also valuation reports and MOT forms. Matching numbers and color. What makes this Stag so special? At the end of 1975, 2 Dutch brothers and 1 sister with their own company had something to celebrate. The company was going very well and they decided to give themselves a gift; a new Triumph Stag! 3 Stag's were purchased: 1 red, 1 green and 1 white. The sister lived in Switzerland and therefore her white Stag was delivered there. She undoubtedly enjoyed her dream car, but within a few years she was forced to stop driving. Her brothers brought the white Stag back to the Netherlands, where the Triumph got a nice dry place in their company. The last owner is a retired friend of the 2 brothers and he was allowed to buy the Stag in 2015. The Stag had driven only 35, 504 km in about 40 years. With his son-in-law mecanic he took the time to improve and renew everything where necessary. There are invoices worth € 11, 300 in parts from Triumph Garage Nico Baas. All the infamous Stag points have been improved: a heavy duty radiator has been mounted including 12 fins water pump and a large expansion tank. Also an improved oil pump, electronic ignition, electric petrol pump, stainless steel exhaust and much more. The MOT is valid until May 2024.
The body is also original, rust-free and at least 80% in the 1st paint. Recently the car has been polished, polished and some small dents have been repaired. The original hood was replaced in 2016 by a beautiful fabric hood with a zip-out rear window, and it still looks like new. The interior is in a beautiful original condition. The original upholstery is almost like new, and the seats have been refilled.
