A wonderful example of the Jaguar S-Type that has benefitted from a bare metal restoration in 2017 and now presents in excellent condition in a Porsche shade of dark grey with red interior.
Powered by the 3. 4l XK engine and mated to an automatic gearbox, this car is a real joy to drive and makes a very capable motorway cruiser or back road ‘wafter’.
As the photos show, the respray is of very high quality. The car was purchased by the current owner in barn find condition and upon stripping back to metal, every area of rust or damage was rectified before being painted in the hade it is now. Combined with the black wheels and chrome hubs, this car has a modern appearance to it whilst still having the classic lines.
The interior is also in excellent condition. The red leather seats were preserved and are supple with no tears. The veneers have all been restored and varnished.
A very useable classic car, with a smoothly delivered powerful engine with a comfortable cabin and large boot.
