A chance to own an iconic 80's classic motoring piece, part of my own personal collection which ive have owned since 2004 (nearly 20 years).

An early 1986 on a 'C' plate Mercedes 190E 2. 3-16 Cosworth, in Champagne Silver, 2. 3 Petrol, 5 speed manual (dogleg) gearbox, 123k miles with full service history and all previous MOTs. Comes with tons of paperwork including the sale bill when it was a year old.

Cosworth spec includes PAS, x4 EW, CL, E/ mirrors, E/ sunroof, Roof mount aerial, Front headlight wash wipes, Alloy wheels, Full black Cosworth interior with No rips or tears, Rear armrest, Rear headrests, Full Cosworth body kit consists of front & rear bumpers, Front & rear spoilers, Side skirts, Door mouldings, Wheel arches and rear boot spoiler.

The engine is a 2299cc petrol with a twin cam 16v head designed by Cosworth giving a respectful 185 bhp which was very powerful back in 1986, attached to a 5 speed Sports (dogleg, 1st down) gearbox.

As mentioned earlier I have owned this 2. 3-16 since 2004, it ran and drove absolutely fine, I only took it off the road to carry out a full respray, but was left at the back of the garage and forgotten about. Its a complete car, the rear lights and front floor carpets were removed and are inside the vehicle.

The general condition of the car is actually very good and the only rust showing is on the bonnet and the driver side front wing where the paint has bubbled, other than that its pretty good, The paintwork is the original paint and again apart from the rear of the vehicle where the boot spoiler has been used as a shelf for storing paint tins the rest of the paint is really good, The body has no dents or dings and pretty straight.

Mechanically the 2. 3-16 was fine with no issues before it was parked up, it has been started and moved around over the years, moving from one garage to another, although I haven't attempted to start it in a while.

This 2. 3-16 comes with a decent amount of paperwork, comes with the handbook/ owners manual with the wallet, some old Mercedes brochures, all the previous MOts last one in 2007 when it was parked up, Old tax disks from 1995, has a sale bill from 1987 when the car was a year old, the original factory build card, Full service book last one at 2005 and lots of invoices/ receipts.

Overall a solid and complete early Mercedes 190E 2. 3-16 Cosworth which shouldn't need a lot to put back on the road.
