1969 Ford Corsair 2000E in Amber Gold with low mileage and history.
Selling as an unfinished project.
This is a very original Corsair that has done 62000 miles and was owned by the same family from new until the 90s and then had 2 enthusiast owners and I purchased it in 2013. Good history with original handbooks , keys and even original dealer sticker in the rear window.
I have carried out most of the mechanical work including new engine bearings and piston rings , brakes , clutch cylinders , suspension rebuild and new stainless exhaust and it does start and drive but I have never attempted to drive it on the road.
Needs a new front jacking point and a few small welding repairs but overall very solid.
The body was restored in 1997 but now needs repairs to one of the lower rear wings part of the front and rear valance on the corners and a small repair to one of the front wings but overall still in good condition. Included in the sale is a new jacking point , lower rear wing repair section various other spares. I have the centre consul that has been removed to restore.
