The MK1 Focus RS had big shoes to fill following on from the Escort Cosworth and it certainly didn't disappoint, The Focus RS was 80% different to a standard Ford Focus and it really showed with the 2. 0 turbocharged engine coupled to the 5 speed gearbox with a new trick Limited slip differential, the interior with super comfortable and unmistakeable Sparco bucket seats and even a remote start button. The exterior certainly wasn't missed out when dishing out upgrades the wider wheel arches really set them apart with 18" OZ alloys and Big Brembo brakes tucked behind the wheels really showing no expense spared when making these.
This car is number 3224 of 4501 and has been owned in the RS community most of if not all its life.
Finished in stunning Imperial blue the MK1 Focus RS is in amazing condition with very few age related marks on the bodywork and the underside doesn't disappoint either having undergone a £3500 underside restoration to standard specification.
The 2. 0 turbocharged engine really packs a punch with this particular car having some very subtle mods such as a uprated exhaust manifold decal exhaust system and a stage 2 remap from Sabre tuning which is really noticeable.
The striking interior is unmarked with very little wear at all the steering wheel being a real weak point which is also unmarked.
This service history supporting the 65000 miles is something to behold with a service book full of stamps, invoices from the start even down to a bulbs replaced. This car will undergo a full service and inspection as part of sale.
