The Morris Minor Convertible is a two-door, four-seat vehicle that features a soft-top convertible roof, making it an ideal car for open-air driving. The car was in production until 1969, and it was powered by a 1. 1-litre engine that could produce up to 48 horsepower. This rare early split screen example looks wonderful in mist green with a cream hood, fitted in the 1970s. It was dry stored in 1978 until recently, the car is now running and driving, but may require some further recommissioning before using on the road. Being an early series MM, the engine is a side valve, this unit appears to be a gold seal replacement unit. This time-warp car has some minor imperfections to the paint, including bubbling to some panels; the underside appears good and solid. The car starts and runs with ease and selects all gears as intended. The interior presents fairly well with well-worn seats. The sale includes a current V5C as well as some documentation.
