This 1990 Mercedes 190E has the larger 2. 0 4 cylinder engine , mated to automaic transmission, and it is finished in Smoke silver with lovely condition Mercedes original alloys and a matching set of tyres which are nearly new . It also has a towbar fitted.

This is a properly maintained car with 22 stamps in the service book, mostly from Mercedes dealers or independent specialists. It has now covered around 135, 000 miles. When we obtained the car it was running warm , so after further investigation , we found that the head gasket needed replacement.
We have now completed a full cylinder head overhaul, new head gasket , timing chain , thermostat housing , hoses and radiator at a cost of £2k, and the engine is running beautifully, and driving as it should.

The bodywork is in good condition , with the odd age related mark , but no rust , and the interior is also very clean with some patina reflecting 33 years of careful use. The Mercedes has an m MOT until January of next year, and is an ideal classic for everyday or occasional use.
