1971 MGB Roadster Manual / Overdrive. Tartan red with black upholstery and a black roof. This smart MG has been with its last keeper for 18 years and during this time has been cherished, maintained and improved. The car presents very well and lots of money has been spent over the years to keep the car in the condition you see today. A nice history file accompanies the MG containing a large amount of old mot certificates as well as lots of bills and invoices, the latest from May this year. The car drives just as it should with the correct oil pressure and working overdrive in third and fourth gears. The suspension is fully poly bushed which also adds the the handling characteristics of the car and new springs have been fitted. The flexi brake hoses have been upgraded to aeroquip. Four matching Uniroyal tyres have been fitted to the refurbished Rostyle wheels and a Moto Lita steering wheel finishes the look of this cool convertible. The paintwork displays a lovely lustre and is still body coloured on the underside and inside the wheel arches with no thick under seal hiding any nasties. The interior is very fresh with new carpets and door cards and the seats recently re-trimmed. The hood also replaced not so long ago and in super condition. Although now tax and mot exempt the MGB has continued to be MOT’d every year and currently has a mot test through to June 2024. Absolutely any inspection welcome.
